I started eGrok, Inc! in the spring of 2003 with a mandate to not only develop great ideas but to implement them as well. I have more than 15 years of technology, project management, and information services experience.

Prior to starting eGrok, I was CTO for Manduca Ventures where I directed Manduca's technology acceleration team and Web design unit. Prior to that I was CTO of Latin American Access Corp., a Miami based developer and e-service provider for early-stage Internet companies and business concepts targeting Spanish and Portuguese speaking marketplaces.

As president and CEO of UrbanCompass.com, I was an early proponent of localization on the web, creating an application that connected local consumers and businesses (both B2B and C2B) and which provided feedback and auction of services.

I also served as a consultant on several technology initiatives for Florida Power & Light, was North American Pickup and Delivery/Fleet Manager for TNT Express Worldwide, and served as an air transportability engineer for the Air Force at Wright-Patterson AFB.

I graduated from Duke University in 1986 with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering.
